Eliza Currie, PA-C Joins Helen Hunt Health Center

Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Eliza Currie, PA-C, has joined the medical staff at Helen Hunt Health Center, 242 Brunswick Street, Old Town, and is accepting new patients.  Currie’s practice centers on all aspects of high-quality family medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, and health care maintenance.
 
Ms. Currie, an undergraduate of the University of Maine, Orono, received her Master’s of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England, Portland, Maine, and was employed by Katahdin Valley Health Center, Patten, Maine, prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care. 
Ms. Currie is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, has received NCQA Diabetes Recognition, the Maine Primary Care Association PA Excellence Award, and was chosen Physician Assistant of the Year by the Downeast Association of Physician Assistants.  Dr. Robert Allen, Executive Medical Director, states “PCHC is very proud to have Eliza Currie, PA-C, join its staff at Helen Hunt Health Center.  Eliza is a very high quality healthcare provider who will provide outstanding caring service to patients in the Old Town area.”
