Heather Bowker, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Joins Brewer Medical Center

Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Heather Bowker, PMH-NP, CS, has joined the medical staff at Brewer Medical Center to provide integrated mental health services.  Robert Allen, MD, MHCM, FACC, Executive Medical Director, states, “PCHC is very pleased to announce that Heather Bowker, PMH-NP, CS, has rejoined PCHC and is now located at the Brewer Medical Center.  Heather is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is very knowledgeable and experienced, as well as being a very caring and compassionate provider.  Heather received her RN degree from University of Maine, Orono, in 1994 and her Masters in Science of Nursing from Husson University in 2000.  In 2001, she received her certification as an Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Husson University.”  Ms. Bowker has over 17 years nursing experience and was employed by the Acadia Hospital prior to initially joining PCHC in 2007.  Mental health services at PCHC practices are available only to PCHC medical patients.  To become a PCHC patient at Brewer Medical Center please call 207-989-1567.
